NEIR Registered Device List by NID (My Devices): How to Check

Want to know how many phones or devices are registered under your National ID (NID)? The NEIR BTRC system shows your registered device list inside the My Devices section. To access it, you need to create an official NEIR account first.

This guide explains the exact steps to register, log in, and view your NEIR device list (including IMEI details).

Steps to Check Registered Devices Using Your NID

Step 1: Visit the Official NEIR BTRC Portal

Open a browser and go to neir.btrc.gov.bd. This is the official NEIR portal in Bangladesh.

Step 2: Create an Account (Register)

If you don’t have an account, click Register. You’ll see the NEIR registration form. Account creation is required to access your device information.

Step 3: Enter Your Name Exactly as on NID

Fill in First Name and Last Name exactly as written on your NID. Avoid spaces in the First Name field if the portal does not allow it.

Step 4: Set Username and Provide NID-Linked Mobile Number

Choose a unique username and enter a currently active mobile number that is registered with your NID. This number may be used for OTP verification.

Step 5: Select Document Type and Enter Last 4 Digits

  • Smart Card – for Smart NID
  • National ID – for normal NID
  • Passport / Driving License – if applicable

After selecting the document type, enter the last 4 digits of the document number.

Step 6: Add Email and Set a Strong Password

Provide a valid email address, set a strong password, then click Submit to complete registration.

After Registration: Where to Find Your Device List

Log in to your NEIR account, click the profile icon, then open My Devices. There you will see your registered device list under your NID.

What You Will See on the “My Devices” Page

  • Total number of devices registered under your NID
  • IMEI numbers of each registered device
  • Active/inactive device status (if shown)

What If You See Unknown or Extra Devices?

If you notice unknown devices or an unusually high number of registrations, contact your mobile operator’s customer care or the relevant authority immediately to fix or remove the entries.

Important Safety Tips

  • Do not share your NID details unnecessarily
  • Before selling a phone, ensure it is de-registered (if required)
  • Check your My Devices list regularly
